Nasreen Chowdhury
Ms. Nasreen Chowdhury is a professional in the satellite industry with diverse experience in Engineering & Program management. She is a frequent presenter in technical & professional Working Groups & Forums across the globe. She has a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from The George Washington University, Washington DC, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Ms. Chowdhury served as a Divisional Engineer in Bangladesh Telegraph & Telephone Board prior to her nomination to INTELSAT; a Washington DC based Inter-Governmental Organization with 142 member countries; as the first & only government representative of Bangladesh. Presently she is working with the Federal Government as a technical lead & subject matter expert in GPS supported airspace navigation. Ms. Chowdhury is an Alumni of BUET and member of IEEE, IEAust.
She is an active promoter of middle school students to pursue careers in science & technology through the auspices of American Association of University Women (AAWU). Ms. Chowdhury has a passion for interior decoration, landscape, light-scape and traveling.
Misu Tasnim
Hi, I'm Misu Tasnim. I currently work for TISTA Science and Technology, a Cybersecurity firm homegrown in MD. I was formerly a Flight Software Sustaining Engineer for NASA's Flight Software Division. I graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2007 with a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, also at Johns Hopkins University. In addition to AABEA, I am actively involved with the Society of Women Engineers. I enjoy volunteering and photography as hobbies. I look forward to another great term with AABEA DC!
Fazlul Quader
Mr. Quader received his Masters degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Wayne State University, Michigan. He worked as Design Engineer and ASIC Design Verification Engineer at Integrated Device Technology (IDT), Toshiba and Hitachi Micro System. He has also worked as Staff Corporate Applications Engineer at Synopsys. Presently, he is working at US Patent & Trademark Office as a Computer Engineering Patent Examiner.
Shaheda Abedin
Shaheda A. Abdin, graduated from City University of New York with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Currently she is working as a Patent Examiner at the United State Patent & Trademark Office, Department of Commerce. She is pursuing a Ph.D in electrical engineering through Graduate Center City University of New York. Shaheda believes that some of the greatest ideas come about through conversation with others and innovative community-building efforts. That's why Shaheda is proud to be a member of AABEA. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family.
